City Government
The Holbrook Village Board meets the first Monday of each month at 7:30 p.m. There are five elected members each serving a 4-year term. The City Office is open from 8:30-11:30 a.m. Monday through Friday. The City Clerk can be contacted during those times at 308-493-5653.
Holbrook has been actively investing in upgrades in their utilities in recent years. Twin Valleys Public Power District completed installation of new poles and wiring in 2005 providing safe electricity to everyone. The water system has just been updated with a new water transmission line from Arapahoe, completed in 2006. Sewer facilities in Holbrook consist of three new pond lagoons and a lift station added in 2002. Source Gas supplies natural gas to the Village, while ATC Communications in Arapahoe provides the telephone and internet services.
The Village has current bonds for their sewer system, water system and· the street paving issue is ongoing, with several more streets in town to be paved this year.
