Holbrook supports several businesses including veterinarian Dr. Tom Maline, who for the last 30 years has served area farmers and pet owners. The Holbrook Coop offers propane and fuel delivery, feed, tires, and on-site fuel service. D&D Service is owned and operated by Dale Long, full time mechanics who provide expert repairs on all types of cars, trucks and farm equipment.
Ho Jo's Restaurant and Bar is the local gathering place for the town providing three meals a day and a Sunday brunch.

Employment
NPP (Nebraska Pork Partners) have several locations within the county and immediate area employing hundreds of workers. There is also a major dairy facility located just south of Arapahoe that employs several workers, as well as a trailer manufacturing plant in Beaver City, just 20 minutes from Holbrook. The Tri Valley Health System employs between 200-300 health care workers within the Cambride Hospital and three clinic sites.
GROW Nebraska is an exciting product of entrepreneurial spirit which began as an
affiliated program of the Central Plains Foundation in Holbrook in 1998 and has
increased awareness of the products and services available from Nebraskans. The
GROW organization supports Nebraska's small businesses through market access
strategies, educational opportunities and sustainable economic solutions. Nebraska-
made products are sold in four holiday stores as well as a new store location in
the Kearney Hilltop Mall. A web site with 500 pages of information about the products,
producers, and retail outlets is now also available. This GROW Nebraska association
has proven that there is a growing market for gift products that are manufactured in
